I am a night owl
And I can’t help it. I can easily stay up until 4 or 5 am and then wake up at around noon. My goal is to wake up for 11:00-11:30 in the morning every day in the long term. There have been overnights where I have stayed up until 6 am reading and writing. I’m not a morning person at all and any earlier than 11-12 leaves me half asleep and irritable. 😠 my family thinks if I just go to bed earlier then I will wake up earlier with energy but that’s not the case. My energy, creativity, and productivity levels increase in the afternoon, evening, and late nights into the early hours of the morning. Then I am ready to go to sleep. Not very deeply but I get some sleep.
