I Am a Night Owl

So, I'm not really a night owl. But, my crush is. I am not usually up late at all ! But he always messages me , were always playing phone tag. But I'm up tonight I can't sleep. , he messaged me and I messaged back when he was still active. But he didn't read my message ( we all know there is a way around that ) ... so I decided to stay off for a while , cause I thought maybe he didn't want to talk to me , but he didn't read or respond ? Should I be worried?
I thought maybe we were soul mates and this was fate. Am I too nieve?
