You should work on you. Get in shape and healthy. Make him realize that you're the catch and are willing to leave for someone more mentally together.

@JaneDoeEyes I've had a look at some of your other stories. I agree with @jenmil below; you're being mentally (and emotionally) abused. Hopefully there's not also physical abuse. Either way, though, please don't accept it. You're teaching your kids that this is the "right" way to treat a woman. If you can't get out for your own sake, please try to do so for their sake.
