Me also. There must be something about the way I am, my own behavior that people react to like this. Growing up and now all through adult hood I tend to go unnoticed. At times I let it bothers me, the silence gets under my skin. But I am so accustomed to it I do find that when I find someone who calls for my attention often, i get annoyed and want to be left alone. I don't actually know how to interact with people on a regular basis.

I know how you feel. I can be friends with a group of people but only to a certain degree. I can never seem to get that close to people.

Sounds like I am not alone in being lonely. I always cherish friends. New and old.
