Working hard...

The bees in my little flower garden are working hard to gather what pollen is left before the flowers die out for the winter.

Great photo - there are still a few flowers in my garden but I suspect today's wind and rain may finish them off.

The bees will hsve to survive on what they have already collected.

@SchoolBelle Mine are probably good for another month, then the coneflowers will all turn to seed,, which the birds will eat, and that will be that for the winter.

@Ontheroad I see my garden only at weekends but my gardener had more or less put it into winter mode - a few of the trees still have their autumn foliage but most of the pruning and clearing has been done.
