Today when I voted...

After about 10 days into early voting, I voted and what I saw gave me hope. The line was about 40 people long and was mostly comprised of women, younger women and that is unusual.

Early voting, at least around here is usually older people (40s-50s+) and about half are male, half female.

It appears more younger people are voting and many, many more women, especially younger women are voting.

This bodes will for Harris/Walz... I just hope this isn't a local thing.

More LEGAL participation is a great thing!

@VeronicaJane while I agree the more voters the better... however, there has never been and there isn't now an issue with fraudulent/illegal votes.
@Ontheroad so the themes of formerly republican voters going democratic once they'd moved to cemeteries in Chicago are just fanciful lore? While I think it doesn't occur on a wide basis, I wouldn't go so far as to say "never".... ;-)

@VeronicaJane I didn't say it never happens. It does and both parties are quilty. What I said is ir isn't and hasnt been an issue. The laws and those responsible for ensuring election integrity work just fine. All the noise is about politics and means nothing.
