I Am Smart Enough to Know I Don't Know It All

A guy I know said those words to me last week. At first it got my back up. I think that's what they're designed to do. A jolt to the system, because no one can hear that & not feel an instant flash of anger, can they?
In truth though he's right. They work on you, those words.
We all fall off the wagon sometimes though. We all give in to things that will destroy us in the end. That very human need to self-destruct, inching to reveal itself & bring you down in flames.
Passion will be the death of us. Stubbornness & desire, & longing, & passion.
