Is it weird that I don't care?

Now LA is on fire and supposedly the other side of the US is being hit with blizzards and im here like "yup same shit as always." Like I dont even care. Its like every other day there is some new tragedy and I think to myself "Burn it all down I don't care anymore". I know thats a terrible mindset to have but its hard to care anymore

You are right.. It is a terrible mindset to have. Thats your country. And as much as you may not like some of the decisions taken by leadership, there are good people out there suffering. Maybe doing a little something to help then right now will make you feel better about you. I really hope so..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman Im not talking about the US exclusively. Its all over the world. There are even more heinous crimes committed in other countries we never hear about

@JestAJester I wont deny it. Maybe it was Covid. Maybe Trump. Maybe it was cancelling Oprah.. But the world is a harder, colder place. To me this makes it more important to keep my own huminity. Although in light of recent events I am reconsidering this position.

@whowasthatmaskedman its funny you say that. I already feel corrupted. There are things I know that I shouldnt. For example often I hear about new sexually explicit things and immediately I walk away or be like "Lalalalalalalala!! I cant hear you lalalalalala!". And Im dead serious. I want to retain what humanity and innocence I have left.
