Being honest has everything to do with self integrity!
Without self integrity you can't even live with yourself!
Your bodies needs would outweigh your own values every time. Basically a isolated rogue animal.
Even animals have values. Hence the concept of herds, colonies and prides in most animals.
You're not going to mate without a willing partner even. That means you're not going to kill it for food! A basic value! Being dishonest with it will likely get you killed yourself, if you don't kill it yourself!
