I’m Sort Of Split…
On the whole metallica thing or more specifically, the james hetfield thing. I do agree that music should be blocked out and all the political 💩 too. I don’t really give a shit if hetfield doesn’t take a stand on an issue. Because everyone always whines and complains when celebrities take a stand on issues. Now they’re whining and complaining when they’re on the fence? Pick a struggle. I don’t care if a particular song they play, may be political either. I don’t want to care about the outside world if/when I attend a concert. I go to concerts to listen to live music. I go to a theater to be entertained with plays or a film. I don’t go to any of those to be lectured about the worlds problems and the politics. If I wanted to hear about that, I would attend a political rally. However… on the other hand, I have no problem with artists speaking out on things they feel passionate about. But it has to be real. Not, people disagree with me as a celebrity, therefore… antisemitism, like jerry seinfeld. That’s idiotic. People suck. 🙄
