I Really Enjoy Long Songs…

So I was trying to ask ai what the longest song was and while the answer they gave is technically correct, I don’t consider this answer to fit my criteria. Why? Because it’s not really a song. It just feels like a piece that happened to be 76 minutes long that was long, just to be long. It’s something that you will hear played in the background on a continuous loop in a fancy clothing store or in some kind of weird experimental nightclub or store. This particular song just feels like an unnecessarily long instrumental piece. Which should not qualify as a song. I think anything longer than 20 minutes needs to have lyrics, a chorus, a bridge and a verse(s). Also pieces that utilize silence or someone talking in the background should not count in this metric as well, unless it adds something to the song, like neil degrasse tysons monologue at the end of avenged sevenfolds song, exist. Which is 15:39 long. But if they’re just rambling on about random shit, it shouldn’t count. For instance, like lil waynes song, dontgetit, which is nearly 10 minutes long but has lil wayne ramble on and ranting about random shit including al sharpton for like 7 minutes of the near 10 minutes of this song. Anyway my favorite long song is empire of the clouds, it fits all the criteria too. It’s an 18:01 long song, followed by the aforementioned, exist and the song, land, by tyr which is 16:17 long.
