So We Went To A…

Soccer (futbol) game this morning. They didn’t win though, so sad face. 😞 The score was 4-1. It’s been so hot lately but overall the weather is nice and perfect beach weather. But we got there too late so there was no parking. We decided to just go to our beachhouse we dub “country house” and just swim there. We have a private beach only accessible to us, it’s sandy and there is even a spot for baby to play in that is sheltered by large rocks that block the waves. It’s about 10-12 feet at its deepest point depending on the sand shift. But the water is clear, cool and refreshing. There is also a reef a little ways out to go snorkeling in and we often see turtles, eels, vast amount of fish and if we are lucky, we might see sharks, rays and even the occasional monk seal. I have seen the former two but I have yet to see a monk seal on our beach. It would be a great spot for them to rest on the beach too. So maybe they do make it to the beach when we aren’t there. I didn’t go snorkeling today because it was rough right where the reef is and with all the jagged coral and pointy rocks, it wouldn’t be smart to snorkel. But we had a great beach day. 🙂🤓
