I Actually Mean What I Say

Experience has shown me most people don't mean what they say, not entirely or directly, or sometimes not at all. Whether this is intentional or not depends on the person and situation. Why does it all have to be so complicated? I choose my words carefully to express myself, not to mislead, confuse, placate, or harm others.

@unknownpoetx true each person brings unique perception and filters to communication, often hearing what has not been said. And some are more sensitive to nonverbals than others. I agree, but that's not exactly my point here, but a welcome addition to the conversation. It's been a while since I wrote this, but I think I was more concerned about precision of language and people that freely use deception
