Why is it always a triangle?

It's more of a rhetorical question... But just look at all these haunted triangles.

Are there really no trapezoids?

1 A triangle is the strongest shape.
Wait a minute...why isn't it a circle?
Could you use the triangles to triangulate the cause of these issues?
