I'm a Strange Person

"The only way to deal with an unfree world is to become so absolutely free, that your existence is an act of rebellion" -Albert Camus

In a world where everything has evolved to some form of pressure it truly does feel like hardly anything is your own choice to make anymore and I'll be the first to admit that I've felt a lot of pressure all my life to act or be a certain way. When I was unhappy with my body I felt pressure to change it because I was told that I wasn't pretty enough, but then when I started going to the gym 24/7 some people called me a she-male and other names. When I listen to rap and hip hop, or where my hat backwards, or do some free styles, I've been accused of trying to be black. And when I pray in public, or even mention the name of Jesus, I get told to save it for the church. A long time ago I would've listened to them. Hell, I would've souled my soul to the devil it meant that I could feel what it's like being one of the cool kids just for one damn day. The sad thing is that it isn't just governments and big businesses who make the world feel so unfree. It's the average Joe and Jane. It's the mothers and fathers that tell their kids to always follow dreams, but then if your dream doesn't fit into their perfect image of you, their like never mind choose a different dream. Or the proud woman that feels like she has tell the whole world when she sees someone wearing clothes that don't seem appropriate to her. And don't get me started on how the whole rainbow community gets treated. If someone is homophobic, they have a right to be, but I'm Sciuruphobic and you don't see me treating every squirrel I see like they're unworthy of breathing the same air as me. The truth is the only way I can respond to all the pressure in the world is by using it as my motivation to keep shining. The last last time I checked, pressure is how diamonds are made 💎 💎💎 So if anyone ever makes you feel like you have to change, or be someone you're not, fight them back not with words or weapons, but by simply continuing to be true to yourself because in this unfree world, the one thing that can set you free is the truth.
Personally I think a strong muscular woman is very sexy and beautiful. And style is always a personal thing and so they can take a flying leap. :) As for faith I am more spiritual in my own way but I get it.
