Why do I feel sad all the time since I moved. 😰

Everything is new, maybe you've lost connection with friends, and of course, not sleeping well kind of messes up a person.

I've met some good people. I'm still in touch with my friends and family, but I feel so alone.
I thought keeping myself busy would help.

A move somewhere completely new can either be really good or really bad 😅
You’re probably missing the normality of your previous town/city because you don’t know where anything is
Maybe the people that you moved away from?

This move could also give you the opportunity to rebrand yourself and become a new person?

@Ashly
Yea that should be it.
think we all miss the last place we lived for a bit.

I't not easy in the Winter....hopefully when Spring comes everyone will venture out and it will feel better....
Homesickness... Just keep on keeping busy and you should push through it.

I hope I'm doing something that I would like to congratulate myself on.
@mindstruggle You'll get there if you are firm with yourself.

This is home now, so go out and find the things you will love about your new home. That will help you to establish familiarity and the feeling of being "home".

The only reason I failed at moving away from my home town was because I was heading into winter and I had no warm clothes - I was kicked out of the hotel every morning and had to walk into town, so keeping warm was essential.

Moving is a big change and you haven’t been sleeping. I hope it gets better for you 🩷

Where you come from it's pretty simple and lay back. You probably miss the people and the lifestyle. Sounds like you havent made good connection where you are at

@empanadas
Yea I wanna punch everyone man.

@mindstruggle maybe change countries and in the near future. There's probably a Filipino community where you are at. Maybe you can hangout with them. Sorry you are feeling this way. My ex felt the same way. Sometimes you just miss home. You might have to ask yourself, is money really worth your happiness?

I know it’s tough as I’m trying to get on my feet. And Yea I’m actually surrounded with them.
