Beauty is not dependent on physical appearance. Would you rather have a serious relationship with a 10 that had a 5 for a heart? Or would you rather date 5 that had a 10 for a heart?
Give me the guy with a heart of 10!

@Fauxmyope2 ‘here’s a caring guy who volunteers with an ambulance service, has goals, ambitions, looks after his health and fitness, does not cheat, classically trained on piano, has innocent past times, is good with kids, educated’

@cupidnpsyche While physical attraction is important initially, it is the entire package that is vitally important for true and lasting love.

Agreed. There are some people out there who might look good but if you actually hear the words that come out of their mouth or listen to the way they might think, they go from a 10 to a 1 so fast. There's a lot to be said about inner beauty especially now. I'd rather be with a geek girl who might think she's a 6 or a 7 but when I see the way she treats others or looks after me is an amazing partner, she's a 12 to me. @Fauxmyope2

@cupidnpsyche Limiting the conversation to physical beauty on a woman only makes sense to take the discussion to a whole new level. That's a pretty base opinion. Yes, it's yours and that's how you see it. You do you and all that. But maybe that thinking is part of why you said you've never been with a girl. You make it sound like you expect the woman to grab your eye is some unattainable standard that only you have when you say things like that. Don't be surprised when you have both men and women come at you with various points of view on beauty to make this broad strokes idea you're putting out there a bit more well rounded. Like I said, you do you and be happy in the way you see things. You're entitled to that thinking. I don't agree with it at all after 42 years of living, but feel free to keep thinking that way and see if your luck with women will change.

@cupidnpsyche I never said anything about beauty leading to ugliness inside. I believe there are attractive women who might have hateful or prejudiced or unfeeling things that make their beauty less. Men and women both can be like that. And just like some beautiful women might not be truly beautiful on the inside, there's always the other side to that coin, a beautiful woman who is also beautiful on the inside. Your overall idea is saying that women are not pretty. It says it right in your post. So right off the bat, you created a loaded post by saying something so asinine that you'll get men and women wanting to correct your idea because that's just not true. Beauty takes all sorts of forms. A woman doesn't have to be a super model to be beautiful. Based on your preferences on women, you grab that net and catch that beautiful butterfly fella. But don't be surprised if you explain your theory to a woman and you make her feel like crap.
