@SW-User really? the few I've know we kinda into it of not sexually for making an easy buck seemed happy enough and well adjusted. I'm sure that doesn't represent all of them.

@texasdaddydom Problem being that the money is addicting.Stripping doesnt last forever.
And by time its over they have no idea how else to support themselves if its a main career they had.
Or they turn to other forms that is "quick".
A lot of women do that work to pay college, debt or for other things.
Not because they wanted it as a main career.
There is also a serious issue with people being unable to leave that work.Because of the reasons above and also controlling managers and whatnot.
Im not saying for every case.
But the only ones who truly benefit when it comes to a poor woman who has to work it to feed her kids...its not the poor woman...its the dirty old men who feed off her situation.
I almost turned to it a few times especially after sexual abuse.
A lot of us turn to that line of work or worse.
But people only prefer to see the bright side.And when the ugly side I represent is put out there they scream and run for the hills.

@SW-User not denying the sex entertainment industry doesn't have a dirty negative side but it, not going away least not soon anyway. how can we make the playing field fair...and the poor woman you think she would be any better off working in Mcdonalds? i think anyone willing to work should be able to make a livable wage so no one feels forced into jobs

Which I have family members who work as both prostitutes and strippers.
They're abused in so many ways.
And its sad.
People have no respect for strippers or prostitutes.
They dont see them as human.
At least if u flip burgers u might be able to avoid rape, stalking, unwanted touching and more.

@SW-User well this sucks I like the idea of the empowered woman who is either into it or one that doesn't give fuck making good cash but if that isn't really a true narrative most of the time for me to rethink it. could this not be a case of individual experiences vary or you are saying shitty to the core and anyone pretending to like it is just playing along out of fear or love of money?
