This girl is honestly reeaally sweet
She's always offering up any way she could help me with anything. She's a very giving person with everyone & luckily I'm not the type to take advantage. I always want to reciprocate with people. She pays for things as much as I do. I don't ask, she just does it. I have to stop her at times just to keep things equal but I'm thankful she's like that. She was raised by a single mom who teaches her not to be dependent on men. I don't think she's been with very many real "men" so far though because she's always shocked by how much I do for myself & how much attention I pay to little things. She's used to men taking advantage of her giving nature.
She compliments me often, which isn't something I'm used to. She always calls me "handsome" & "fine" & I know people always call me attractive in certain words but I'm not used to those specific words she uses. I like it 🥴 she sees how hard I work & she sees how much I do outside of work.. idk how to explain it but she just makes me feel like a man. & I know a large part of that is because I actually feel like one on my own for once in my life lately. But she sees me as that too & she's vocal about it. It feels good to have your strengths & efforts be acknowledged.
I'm not getting my hopes up & if things don't work out over time, that's fine. I've reached a point where I'm okay with letting go & being alone. But we both know that we like each other. We both know that we're considering taking things more serious at some point but I don't want anything to feel rushed or obligatory. So I'm not pushing for anything & I remind her all the time that she doesn't owe me anything.
So far it seems like she's so many things I've always wanted... but wasn't expecting or even searching for. I know every time I date someone new, I'm blinded by all the good stuff. We never know how things will turn out. But just the look in her eyes when she gazes at me, the begging in her eyes when she wants me, the admiration in her eyes when I do something & I don't even notice she's paying attention, even the sadness in her eyes when I tell her something I've been through (it feels weird for someone to look at me like they're sad for me but she does it in a way that makes me feel seen & cared about. Not pitied).. I've never had all of that together. Like she actually makes me feel attractive & desired. (I used to have to ASK my kid's mom for compliments & even then it was like pulling teeth) & She tells me I look at her the same way which I'm not doing on purpose but I can't help it 😭 I just admire her whenever I look at her.
She's so many things... She's beautiful.. she's pretty, she's hot, she's sexy, she's downright adorable & she's soooo fucking cute 🥹 she has a big heart & she cares a lot about her appearance but not at all in an arrogant way. It comes off very relatable & human. She loves kids but has never had her own because she never found someone she trusted enough & she's afraid of being ready. She hasn't met my daughter of course but she sees all her stuff at my place & she thinks it's adorable. She said she's really glad I'm a good dad & she finds that attractive which is surprising to her because she's never been with a single dad. Not that she was against it, she just never had to consider it. She said when she first met me, she told her best friend that I gave off "dad energy" 😂 which is funny because I remember the first time I mentioned my daughter to her, she made a quick comment where she touched her heart & said "aw, my daddy issues 🥹"
Come to find out, she loves her dad but he left a long time ago. She maintained a relationship with him but it's declined over the years along with his health. Now she feels guilty for not knowing how to talk to him or be there. It sounds a lot like what I'm still going through with my mom. The first time I mentioned my mom, it was a quick passing comment but tears came out of my eyes a minute later. Even though I already switched the subject & I was still talking, I couldn't stop the tears. I hoped it wouldn't be noticeable but when she looked at me, she wiped the tears & didn't ask about them. She just looked me in the eyes like she saw me & it was okay..
She's so sweet & caring even for random strangers. Like we saw an old man at the store the other day complimenting a lady in a very kind way so I simply said "aw," & she had this smile in her eyes while she said "I hope something good happens to him today" as if she was manifesting it. I just think little things like that say a lot about her own kindness. I've never been with someone as caring & attentive as her & it's new to me.. it feels funny to get used to.. but I like it so much 🥹
