My P.O came to visit today & when she heard me & Naya's mom split up she told me
"I don't know why she wouldn't wanna be with you. You're doing amazing on probation & you're a great dad. You seem like genuinely good guy & I can't say that about most people I work with"
She even started telling me about her own love life & relationship struggles trying to be helpful. At one point she even said "idk why I'm telling you all this" but she kept telling me anyway 😅 I always say talking to her feels like talking to one of my Tia's because she's one of those fiery latina ladies who's nice but doesn't take any sh*t 😂
In the end she said she hopes everything works out. But it was just funny to hear even my probation officer hyping me up & being like "she's crazy for not wanting to be with YOU"
I have a feeling we could possibly end up back together though. For the past few weeks we've been talking every day like we used to do in the beginning. We spend the night together sometimes & we've been working on improving a lot of aspects in our relationship, including our sex life. I think both of us don't wanna say "let's get back together" & then fall back into the same cycle so we're just trying our best to overcome our obstacles as they come. Like when we have a disagreement, lately we've been doing better about finding a solution together instead of repeating the issues back & forth to each other hoping it'll solve itself. It feels like awkward & foreign territory sometimes but I feel happy when we overcome things we used to hold on to
