Today I went on my first mini-trip with just me & the baby
Up until recently we've only had 1 vehicle. So anytime we went somewhere or did anything we would either go together as a family or just one of us would go & the other would stay home with the baby. I think my gf has taken the baby by herself twice so far. Just to her mom's though.
I knew I'd be fine traveling alone with the baby but I've never done it before so I wasn't in a hurry to try it 😅 but tonight mama has been working so I got the baby ready & took her to the store with me.
It's pretty convenient that her car seat & her stroller are interchangeable so I could swap her car seat from the base to the stroller without having to unbuckle her.
It felt pretty cool cruising in the lowrider dadwagon, baby chillin in the back, chill music playing through the crisp new speakers, & just walking around I felt so proud to have her with me 🤗 I just love my baby so much.
I play baby music for her when she's chillin' but when I'M chillin, she listens to MY music lol. But I still put on chill stuff purposely because I know she likes calm music. So today we rode around listening to a favorite artist of mine 🙏

Then we got home & watched The Lion King 1.5 (it's the one where Timon & Pumba tell their story). I used to watch that one a lot as a kid because I liked how different it was & she seemed to love it too so that's cool 😌 Gf got home & brought birria pizza (it's not pizza at all it's basically like a big birria quesadilla with the consome on the side for dipping).
So now I'm drinking a beer & enjoying the rest of my night. Cheers y'all 🍻
