Get rid of Biden and the globalist climate change idiots and the price of everything will go down. These high prices are all tied to the lack of oil and gas and the democrats are to blame.

@Baremine oil companies hold lease on literally millions of acres that stand unused. They are the ones that choose when to drill. Biden has zero to do with that.
And, you do know that those same companies have reported record profits during the time when prices skyrocketed. Capitalism at it's finest.
Do you want to see these companies given price caps? Charged with price gouging? I didn't think so....

@Carla agreed. I find it funny that they think the government can regulate this in a capitalist society.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Carla you obviously don't know anything about al the government bullshit that is involved with getting the permits to drill an oil well. Getting the lease is the easy part. I leased land to several different oil companies. The problem is getting the permits to drill from the anti fossil fuel government. You need to know facts before spouting off your mouth. Biden is feed the people a bunch of lies. He is the problem.

@Baremine actually that’s inaccurate. There are roughly 9000 permits that actually aren’t being used at the moment. In fact Biden, and before you go on about me loving Biden I’m Canadian and hate all politicians, brought up the fact that these 9000 authorized permits weren’t being used. The issue is in the execution. There’s a lot that goes into prepping to drill and it takes a lot of time and money. They say there is lack the man power and even the pipes are back ordered for months. Oil companies make about 200 billion a year. However, what I notice a lot of people who blame the governments about interfering with oil production is this, they forget the most basic part of capitalism which is supply and demand. Meaning the less they put it out the more that can charge. If you think it’s the government that’s interfering with production then you underestimate the greed in oil companies that have been there since day one.
@Baremine privatized housing doesn't work.
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Roundandroundwego how so. I own my house. My two kids rent apts that are owned by private corporations.
@Baremine housing for everyone seems to be impossible everywhere capitalism takes over.
Why would I think you getting it better than the homeless is success?
Baremine · 70-79, C
@Roundandroundwego I guess you can't handle having to work for something. When you work for something it means something to you. I'm all in favor of helping people who are disabled or lacking mental health but able-bodied people need to work not have their hands out.
Besides a lot of homeless make more money than we do and don't have to pay taxes.
@Baremine I'm shocked that you would ignore the results of everyone working for money in jobs and paying for the basics as commodities on the "open market". It's killing the ecosystem and millions of Americans are poor and homeless. Privatization has huge flaws.

@JackJames these are facts. And i appreciate you stating them.
