I Moved Away From My Hometown

I consider my hometown the one I grew up in; lived in from the age of 3 through 20. If/when I spend 17 years somewhere else, MAYBE I'd start calling that other place my hometown. My hometown has a population of about 2,000. I currently live in another state. The town I currently live in had a population of about 56.000. I lived here for 7 years. Both places are in counties whose name starts with C. The grade through High school I attended is named after a fictional character.
