But in a time when Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney are "far too liberal" for the current GOP...the "center" is somewhere near THEM, or well Right of where it used / ought to be.
The real problem is that you can't have a discussion with people who
• depend upon "alternative facts"...and
• think that insisting upon sources other than a podcast by someone with zero background is somehow violating their right to Free Speech, and
• think that Free Speech also means that no one should, e.g., get after them for spewing illogical, inconsistent, false, made-up nonsense.
If we could agree on real, provable facts, we could have discussions. We are stuck at square one.

@SomeMichGuy 2025 was the most organized, focused, and ready that the Republicans have been since Newt and his Contract with America. The Dems need to match that.
Amendment for body autonomy
Amendment for term limits
Amendment for upper age limit for pres
Amendment for total news / media that any single company can control.
Amendment clearly defining watchdog (IGs, excertra) as appointed and solely accountable to congress.
Amendment establishing ethics code and clear ethics review process for Supreme Court members.
Since we won't win in this court with the rules as written, this is the only way to clearly change the rules.
