@LadyGrace Praise be to God 🙏 Hallelujah! I am so happy for you 🤗
@Musicman thank you yes, praise God Is Right. Haha I am so happy
@Musicman And guess what. .

I found something new to help me with my knees, but whether I can find a decent honest doctor to help me get this is another thing because they want to operate on my knees but this wonderful doctor on YouTube said if you can move your knees you are NOT bone on bone! And they've got something out way better than those cortisone injections for the knees. He said those do no good he said they're a waste. But this is a orthopedic sports Doctor and he showed the chart on how good these PRP injections are compared to the others that I used to get. The difference is night and day he said and you could see from the chart. And he said this will probably keep you from having to get surgery. They are platelet-rich plasma injections. Now if I can find a doctor to give me those they will do wonders for me and then I can have those in my back as well
@Musicman I don't know how painful that procedure is because they have to take cartilage out of your knee I think and then treat it and inject it back in so I got to check this all out.

@LadyGrace My cousin had that done. He says his knees are like new again.
@Musicman Oh my goodness! I wish I had known this long ago. I need to know the procedure of that and the trick will be to find a doctor in my area that will do that and be honest but most will lie and say no your knees are too bad and you have to have an operation. Yes I bet his knees do feel like new.
@Musicman oh wow I found out this important information:

Who can perform PRP injections?

If you're thinking about trying PRP, see a board-certified dermatologist. These doctors perform more cosmetic procedures than any other type of medical doctor. They have the in-depth training required to evaluate your skin and tell you what proven treatments can be most effective for you.

@LadyGrace There is a doctor here doing it.
@Musicman that's good but that doesn't help me haha

@LadyGrace Nope! With the needles and injections I am afraid to do it.
@Musicman I'm not wanting to do it either but that's better than surgery.

@LadyGrace That's true. I never looked at it that way.
@Musicman This is what I really need and want, but I think I'd have to go to Barnes Hospital in St. Louis for that.

What works better than PRP?
Stem Cell Therapy is a more advanced treatment compared to PRP Therapy. PRP Therapy recruits growth factors in the injured area to aid in healing. Stem Cell Therapy not only does the same thing that PRP offers, which is initiating the body's repair response, it also enhances stem cell activity for regeneration.
@Musicman What is the average cost of stem cell therapy?
The total cost of stem cell therapy varies depending on factors such as treatment type, location, and provider. On average, it can range from$5,000 to $50,000 or more. It's essential to research different providers and compare costs before committing to a specific treatment plan. My insurance won't cover it, i just found out. I'll have to look further into that.

But I don't know. Is stem cell therapy paid for by Medicare?
Medicare covers stem cell therapy for FDA-approved treatments, which are typically for hematopoietic stem cell transplants. These are stem cell therapies that promote the growth of healthy blood cells. These therapies are sometimes used to treat certain cancers, including: lymphomas. But if that would cover me, I don't know. Man that would be great if I could get that.

@LadyGrace My cousin had his knees done for $3500. But, that was about 5 years ago too.
@Musicman yeah but that was for PRP not stem cell, right? After reading all about stem cell replacement, that's definitely not a route I would go. I'm sticking with PRP.

@LadyGrace Now that I don't know. The truth is after 5 or 6 years I just don't remember.
