Colorful Field Border

I passed a field today and it was bordered in front by a lovely strip of tall wildflowers.

But they may have been planted, and then allowed to grow untamed, because there were none in the surrounding woods. No matter, they were pretty!

It is a perfect day: mostly sunny, with white, puffy clouds. It is warm, in the low 80's, but not humid.

Ahhhh.

Most of those flowers wouldn't grow in the woods anyway. They need too much light. The blue ones look like cornflowers to me, called that because they grow in fields of corn (not maize).

It caught my eye and I did a u-turn but could not park so took another u-turn and temporarily parked in somebody's driveway, LOL!
