I Am Easy to Get Along With

Just seen my husband's (for now)- new girlfriend. I was going to smile, nod - maybe not so much of a hello but hey, why not? There is no ill feeling towards her, she may in time be introduced to my children and as an amicable person I would like her to see this and that I don't have a problem with her being with my ex.
Unfortunately though she didn't look up from her phone. I am reasonable and easy to get along with despite circumstances. I hope she realises this and that I'm not going to be the ex from hell - though I could be :)

@Autumn-Rayne: exactly! but there lies our problem, since we are this way we expect, or at the very minimum think somewhere in our mind/hearts that everybody in the world is like this, but thanks to experience we know better... (Or should know better : )

@Lolco-: Why should we allow it to ruin our nature?! I won't lie, I have become very wary of people due to experiences but I remain humble because that's who I am. Maybe we should not necessarily "know" better (because we already know) but maybe not be so open about it though again, that's who I am.

I love this... & Yes we do know better already :) I hate that I have to be selective with who I am with my real nature but obviously that's because of experience, but once I do find that similar person it is such a great feeling :)
