I Am Easy to Get Along With

Just seen my husband's (for now)- new girlfriend. I was going to smile, nod - maybe not so much of a hello but hey, why not? There is no ill feeling towards her, she may in time be introduced to my children and as an amicable person I would like her to see this and that I don't have a problem with her being with my ex.
Unfortunately though she didn't look up from her phone. I am reasonable and easy to get along with despite circumstances. I hope she realises this and that I'm not going to be the ex from hell - though I could be :)

I think this is the best way to approach things. When my now-husband was getting divorced from his first wife, i met her and she actually wasn't as bad as he painted her out to be. I have no ill-will towards her and actually feel happy that she has moved on and found herself. His baby mama is a different story, that woman had it out for me since day one!

I knew her when we were teens and in honesty she was very quiet back then. She has two children, I have 3. My ex and I also know her ex (who's an idiot). I know she's worried what her ex will be like because she told my ex but I don't want her thinking that I will be the same. If there was cheating I could understand bad feelings but ex's are just that for a reason.. But why can't people Just be humble and polite.
