I Am Easily Amused

I am easily amused by simple, peaceful things. A patch of wildflowers growing beautifully in a forest, a small gathering of tadpoles in a stream, a beautiful rainbow after a terrifying rainstorm.

I am not amused by things regarding human accomplishments for some reason though....

I am always confused at some of the things people seem to consider accomplishments.

“We had a baby!” “I’m gay!” “I hate the President!”

I can only say, “so what?”
