Night terrors are an experience, that's for sure. Especially the ones where your screaming wakes the whole house.

@SW-User One of my daughters used to have them, but she could never remember anything about them..

@SW-User Nope. She'd just wake up confused..... eventually, then abuse me for waking her up. It could take up to 10 minutes of screaming before she would awaken... :(

I'm not making light of this but there must be a reason horror movies usually have young girls in all sorts of scary situations - many of which happen at night and involving dream-like, nightmare-like terrors.
