The most prolific figure in my dreams for a long time has been a guy I knew from the high school cross country team. We went to two different colleges that were in the same small town also. One night in college we were discussing politics on Facebook, and I said something stupid that he took personally, and he vowed that next time he saw me he would kill me. He avoided me the rest of the year, and I haven’t seen him at all since he said that.
