I think first off......self realization right? You take the time to find some quiet place to sit down, analyze and reassess.
From there, if it were me. I would look at my available assets, research my dream whatever, and if it included going back to school or training, research that, the cost and logistics, and then projecting ahead to completion of whatever training I might need, research where my new found skills are going to grant me my best opportunities for success.
And I know, I'm speaking about jobs because, by building the right foundation and projecting forward, if you're good at what you do, you should realize a relative expectation of success. "Luck" has been described as where opportunity meets preparation and so forth.
Bottom line.....it all starts with a plan. If you don't like where you are, then you need to have that long, deep introspective look in to your depths and assess not only your strengths, but willingly concede your weaknesses and seek alternative routes or work at strengthening them.
Ultimately, it really is a dance. It can be intriguing, frustrating, heart-breaking and euphoric, but in the end, it really all does comes down to whether or not you possess a vision for yourself and carry a peasant's tenacity.
My best to you.

@Freeranger I agree. You have to be realistic, able to assess, and determine for how long you want to pursue.

I do research on how to get unstuck and then I take what I learned. usually takes small steps and a lot of phone calls. In the meantime, I do what I can to get my base of operation more in order so I am in a better position to develop skills and pursue opportunities.

You can only live your dreams in your dreams.
It's like attempting to live your life by a science fiction book. Just not possible. 🤷🏻♂️

That's a great question.
It's so hard to live my dreams when there's a tug of war going on inside of me.

Most of my dreams are caught when I take photographs. That way getting stuck is impossible
