Actually, I don't care if anyone sees me cry...
I never have. Crying is not something I am ashamed of. I cry every day. I have major depressive illness, I am post menopausal, and just the act of being an old lady and all the memories I have in life make it very likely everyone will see me cry. 🤷♀
I cry from movies and songs that bring back memories or show being an old person in a light I can identify with. I cry when I see others in pain. I cry when animals cry. I cry when I see or hear of suffering or injustice.I cry every day.🤷♀
Anger is something I am deeply ashamed of, and this is something I never want anyone to see me doing. The only thing that has ever embarrassed me is to become angry and lash out at anyone, no matter how much that reaction is deserved or justifiable. It represents a loss of control inside me that I cannot tolerate.👎
