I'm curious about the mythological first wife of Adam named Lilith.

It seems that she became /evolved to be a warning to women to be subservient to men in sex or risk being cast out of Eden and declared to be a monster and the killer of newborns.

Apparently they took sex pretty seriously back then.

At some point her name was stripped from the Christian Bible. Apparently the original Genesis story had her being made at the same time as Adam from the same stuff and equal. After she left Eve was made from his Rib (Must have run out of magic dust.).

Not sure what Adam did that upset her so much but a lot of marriage counseling is probably still about a difference in sex drives and/or communication and/or respect.

She refused to be subservient to Adam and wanted autonomy over her own body. She was cast out of Eden and turned into a demon because men have wanted women to be subservient since the dawn of time, apparently. Also, men wrote the history books and the Bible, so even though men and women were created to be equal, those who wanted power couldn’t let us be. It’s also why Mary Magdalen’s story and her relationship with Jesus and the equality and balance of woman and man was removed from the Bible and much of history as well.

she is never mentioned in the original hebrew scrolls...the bible is a collection\anthology of ancient writings over many centuries. a committed voted on which writings could be trusted as authentic. some were included by just one vote
