How to shut down personal questions at work?

I started a new job.

people keep asking me personal questions. Even after i said my keep my life private
it still happens.

Vague empty answers repeatedly. People will get the hint.

"What do you like to do for fun?"
Oh you know, a little of this and that. I like to read.

Be boring, people will lose interest.
