Hmm... I'm curious

I've noticed there's a few different warnings. Like there's another one to do with sharing photo's of yourself with users you don't know.
That one always seems to be triggered automatically whenever someone sends me an opening message with certain keywords like 'image' 'picture' 'video' in it..
So I think there's a few scenarios. One is possibly the wording like if they'd used 'cash' 'credit' 'money' in their opening PM then it might be automated and the second is definitely when they're suspect.
I mean I've had new PMs before now which just said ''hello'' and that scam warning popped up on them. So it obviously can't always be written off as just automated keywords but like dirge said there's probably a few different metrics involved.

I have that message underneath someone's 1st message to me, which I have not initiated. Since I delete most of those fairly quickly, I can't say whether that's true of every first message that I receive.
I'm sure they use a range of metrics including how new the account is, some key words they've used and probably a bit of history from the ip range they come in from.
Dont trust it I believe the person was reported

Probably just a general warning or they may have been reported before.

Probably. I'm just surprised the administrators themselves haven't posted something like this.

Well how about saying if someone asks you for personal info tell them nothing.

@updown2020 well yeah, obviously lol but some people are just really open and have truly good hearts to assume everyone they meet are good people. And honestly, it's sad those big hearted people are the ones who end up falling prey to guys like this.
