Does anyone know about sleep paralysis ?

Does anyone know about sleep paralysis ?
Last two days I have been dealing with it.

It only started happing after i stopped taking tylenol pms.
I was on them for a year.

The Tylenol game could have been blocking something mentally subconsciously.
Something that may have been suppressed in the past that the Tylenol pm was blocking.
Now that it's not it could be here of working those press memories out.
Go you know if any traumas in your past. Pm me if you want to answer but don't feel comfortable doing it so openly.

A doctor may prescribe medications like antidepressants or stimulants to treat sleep paralysis caused by narcolepsy. Why were you taking Tylenol?
ABCDEF7 · M
@notingtodo Sleeping pills can cause sleep paralysis as a withdrawal effect. Other substances that can affect sleep and increase the risk of sleep paralysis include alcohol and nicotine.

When you stop taking sleeping pills, you may experience withdrawal symptoms like anxiety, confusion, and mood changes. These symptoms can be most severe in the first few days after reducing your dose.

Why you stopped your sleeping pills, without consultation with doctor?
notingtodo · 26-30, M
@ABCDEF7 because theyw ere not good for me plus they are not real sleeping pills
ABCDEF7 · M
@notingtodo Abruptly stopping of some medicines may cause withdrawal effects. Try starting it again, take regular dose for three days, and then decreasing the dose to 75% for three days, then to 50% for three days, then 25% dosage for three day, then finally stopping it.

I had it twice in my life so far. Defintely not side affect of leaving medicine it's just a normal part of dream / sleep, like the falling dream which kids get.
notingtodo · 26-30, M
@Sazzio I never got it before.

i only got it after i left this medicine

All I know is that they are more likely to happen when I take a nap during the day. Also when I experience long-term stress.

that stinks. i get that oncein awhile its disconcerting. maybe try setting a loud alarm?
notingtodo · 26-30, M
@Penny i think tonighight i'm just going to stay up all night
seaglass · F
Days? Does it happen upon drifting out or waking?
notingtodo · 26-30, M
@seaglass no just when i try to go tp bed for the night. or like wen i tryed to take a nap today.
seaglass · F
@notingtodo Your brain is just not used to drifting out unaided. It will stop soon but I can't predict how quickly. Shouldn't be more than a few days. I know it feels scary, but you'll be okay. If you stop trying to go to sleep, it will get worse as it often happens when going to sleep to people who are extremely over-tired
fetish2277 · 46-50, M
Ive had it quite a few times, never been on any meds. Its pretty scary
Heavenlywarrior · 36-40, M
