@Queendragonfly there are different ways of perceiving it actually and honestly, it feels like none of those perceptions are fully wrong. It's how a person's beliefs shape their view.

@SW-User Yes, but this is my opinion. Just capitalism alone is a very corrupt yet people support it. It is what has destroyed what makes this world matter. The nature, the animals. Our seas. Our health.
The second people thought money, cash, dollars , external sucess and materialism is what matters, they were sucked up in to the system.
And those people need to lose everything and go through a death and life crisis to realize how manipulated and blind they were.
Matrix doesn't have to be the like in the movie, to have a true symbolism that we can apply to this reality.

We are taught to automatically respect people with lots of money, high status etc etc, but I do the opposite. I'm very suspicious of people who think wealth and an expensive car and a big mansion is so important. Because everywhere there's someone with way more money than they need, there's someone's blood they've sucked in order to get there.
