What do you usually do when you don't know what to do?

Write down the options and pros and cons for each of them. Then I get caught in a cycle of obsessive searching for as much information about everything related to it as possible until I get exhausted and finally pick one of them not looking back to not rouse doubts if my choice was the right one.
