Have you ever had to stop yourself from saying "I love you" to someone you're not supposed to say it to?

Yes.. I loved a girl at college, deeply, and she loved me back.. But she was in the middle of a very long and tiring relationship with someone else.. She ended up going back to him to see what her efforts would turn out.. So I had to stop loving her.. Unfortunately I never have. I found her on facebook years later, she didn't end up marrying him either.. Life :) bittersweet
