Your life, as it stands today.

If you could give it a rating from 1 - 10, what would it be and why?

For me, it's a 7. I am very satisfied with how it turned out and what I have achieved.
Of course there is a lot I wished I'd done differently. But on the whole, I am glad I am where I am.

I would rate it around 5. I am satisfied with how I am living, but my family are not pleased with me and friends have walked away because I am not successful enough for them.

@SW-User I am sorry that you rate your life so low. Perhaps it's better to be without friends like that. Who needs that sort? You certainly don't they are very shallow.

@Rangemaster57 It is kind of you to say that... but around here, everybody rates everybody else on the size of their paycheck and the impressiveness of their job title.

@Rangemaster57 The only reason I don't pack up and move tomorrow (besides the crappy economy) is that I have elderly family members nearby who I feel responsible for.

@SW-User I am in awe of you now, I was going to see that at the end of the day it's family that count, but you seem to know that already.

@Rangemaster57 Yes, they matter so much...and I realise now that they are in their 80s and 90s, they will not be around *forever*. I can't take time with them for granted.

@SW-User Absolutely, because if you have anything you want to say to them, say it now, as you might not get that chance tomorrow.
