Panspermia, is the idea that Life originated in outer space and was carried somehow to Earth in a type of Primordial cells with DNA creating life on Earth as we know it through Evolution. Could virus's come from Outer Space too?? Like corona ? Or Spanish Flu ? Or so many other viruses that act pathogenic to humans.
Given that viruses are highly adapted to getting into specific cells in specific hosts, no. There is no way a random virus falling from space could infect anything on a planet it had no connection to, even if panspermia is real.
@OggggO Don't be ridiculous, the key/locking mechanism might not only be applied to the human protein viruses. Some scientists believe that Viruses existed since the Earth was quite young and still being bombarded with outer space material. A lot of viruses might have been captured dormant in the early permafrost and rock formations. There are theories viruses might have evolved in early mammals too 200,000 years ago. Your dismissal of where virus came from is not scientific nor valid. Go broaden your mind and get educated.

@OggggO I understand and know a lot about virus and bacteria. I was just helping your to broaden your mind. Your mind is closed so you're not qualified to answer my original question
@usher yes. Wish we’d kept the meteorite my uncle found in his field the day after he disced it smooth. He woke up in the night to a flash of light and knew it hit close to our farmhouse. Found it the next day.
@DeluxedEdition It depends on your definition of 'Real'. Do you mean real as in a physical place? Then it's as real as you or me. Are we real ? That just needs a definition. What is real or reality
