I love discovering new things

@Disposal Without technology I would have never been able to better my life and would have died long ago. However, I do think people are far too reliant on technology and in ways such reliance has become an addiction and is destroying much of society as a whole.

@AliceMargatroid honestly I wish it focus more on saving lives than social media. There not a day I go by and see someone gaze stuck on their phones

@Disposal What's really off-putting to me is if you are having a meal with someone at a restaurant and they spend almost the entire time on their phone looking at social media.

@AliceMargatroid I always hate those that take pictures of their food. I mean, come on. Food is meant to eaten and enjoyed with the company you are with in restaurants

@Disposal I had an ex boyfriend who never spent time with me and was almost always on his phone. It was super annoying. It never even felt like a relationship and a part of me considers not counting it. I only ended up with him at all because he pretended at first that he was completely different.

@AliceMargatroid I know I've dealt with people like that. Complete fakes till it sinks it but usually that happens after the honeymoon. You kinda got lucky.

@Disposal The guy was never interested in marriage. He was just trying to take advantage of me. In the end he stole my things including most of my clothes, left me homeless in the middle of the winter and then went around trying to smear me behind my back. Fortunately I foresaw the possible risks beforehand and was able find a place for low rent.

@AliceMargatroid Oof, that's rough. You're one hell of a trooper to be able get out of such a situation. That something that gotta be admired as strength.
