Pennsylvania was a very powerful state yet it never had a coastline on the Atlantic
Was it because the Quaker’s did not want to mingle with the Catholics ?

All the coastline was already taken, so they went for volume, not quality.

@SWisGoingWoke I read they were going to annex part of Maryland or Delaware to have a coast but choose not to. I’m curious because they keep migrating to NJ every summer 😝
