Childhood memory unlocked

I have no idea what unlocked this particular memory but last night I was thinking about trying to dig a hole to china in about 3rd grade. Maybe it was 2nd grade? I can't remember which but I remember every recess for a few days I would go under the jungle gym with two other boys in my class and we were trying to dig a hole to china. We were serious about it too and I remember these older boys I wanna say maybe 5th or 6th graders asked us what we were doing. I remember puffing up my little chest and shouting NONE OF YOUR BEESWAX at them. Yeah little me thought that comeback hit like a truck back then. We were never able to get super far because one of the playground monitors caught us and made us fill the hole back in. I really believed it was possible to dig a hole to china for whatever reason.

I also remember being sent to the office for drawing a mean doodle of a kid I didn't like.
