I’m sorry your parents didn’t let you enjoy your childhood 😥

My grandpa grew up in a time where he had no education, even as an old man, he could hardly read. He worked on a farm post WWII.

Instead of guilting me into feeling bad for my privilege, he took me on shopping sprees to Toy R Us as a kid. 🙏 my parents also didn’t expect me to get a job until I graduated. I’m glad they didn’t add pressure on me to make money and pay bills.

My grandpa (on my dads side) had dyslexia and so the whole education system thought he was dumb.

Mans could barely learn to read or write cause their policies were so backwards (compared to now).
@Chaoshead I know what you mean. My grandmother was in special education. She told me that all they did was just put her in a room all day and teach her nothing.
