Even more memories from my childhood

My father is a successful businessman, and my mother has enjoyed a good career within our locality of Skofja Loka, they have told us many stories about how they met. It was something my brother and I liked to ask our father about in the evenings after dinner, and before bedtime, and his stories were always mesmerising to us. I would fall asleep cuddling up close to my brother, who would then help our father take me up to my bed.

From a young age I gave up wearing a nightie in bed, even during the Winter (just needing a thicker gauge duvet to keep me warm in bed), so they would have to unwrap my dressing gown to put me to bed. My Dad told me that my brother had a particular way of doing this, which involved holding one side of it and rolling me off his lap support, so I settled on my favoured sleeping position (face down), making sure I could breathe alright once they pulled the duvet up over me.

Even today, there are evenings I fall asleep cuddling up to my Dad, and he would carry me up to my bed, settle me in asleep and cover me over. Obviously, I would settle with my Dad in the evenings, watching TV, or reading, after my evening shower, naked and ready for bed. I don't weigh much, and with him being so strong he had no problem doing this.
