This is where I spent most of my childhood

I had a cat named Clyde and we went everywhere together. I spent many hours around here making woodland gardens, fires, singing, and generally being a little weirdo

I miss it

Nice. I was always in the woods and gullies as a kid too only instead of cat I rode my bicycle and made tree forts and foxholes.

@caccoon I wouldn't be surprised if some of the highway greeways, railroad tracks, and dark corners of the local wooded parks around rochester still have some of the crap I and a few friends dragged in to build shit with.

@MethDozer you should go back someday and find out!

@caccoon what kind of town did you grow up in?
caccoon · 36-40
@MethDozer very rural, small mountainside town. One general store, and a town hall (it was always empty and basically just a space to rent) and that's it

How about you?

@caccoon Western NY. Home of Kodak and Xerox towards the end of their economic boom. Kind of a typical rust belt American city.

@caccoon Why is that surprising?

@MethDozer I never pictured you as a city boy XD

@caccoon Sure am. I was just blessed enough to have a dad and mom who would take me and sis out to of the city and into the rivers and woods. My childhood was rocky at times but I was lucky in that I got to have a foot in each world growing up.
