School swimming pool [I Have Embarrassing Childhood Memories]

When I was 15 I was allowed to sit out a swimming lesson because of my period. So I was sitting by the poolside doing my homework when the teacher asked me to go back to the changing room to get some weights for diving practice. I went too quickly, slipped and fell fully clothed into the shallow end, with everyone watching 馃槥馃槬

Unfortunate as that can be embarrassing. A good friend would "fall in" with you, perhaps while helping you out of the water, so it wouldn't be as bad.

@BizSuitStacy That would have been nice 馃檪 But all my friends were doing the swimming lesson as normal.

@GentleLucille I recall a very similar incident when I was in high school. I felt badly for the girl. She spent the rest of the day in gym shotts, t-shirt and flip flops.
