I Have Childhood Memories

When I grew up not only did I get spanked by mom and the nuns, but also when I was at a friends house and acted up, their parents would punish me. That was always a bare bottom spanking with whatever the parents used on their own children. It ranged from a hand, ruler, hairbrush, paddle, short belt, regular belt or a strap. It was also true if I went away with my friend or he with me and we were bad we were punished by the parent who was watching us.I was spanked by other parents and my mom spanked my friends or my brother or sisters friends if they were bad. I was also spanked by my sister who was 8 yrs older when she babysat as well as other babysitters. Did you ever get spanked by a friends parents or a babysitter?

No. Never spanked by a baby sitter. Never spanked by friend's parent. I may have gotten close once. My friend Susan and I were in the backyard alone. Susan was getting romantic with me. Next thing her mother comes out with a ruler in her hand. I left and went home. We were about 11 years old. Susan had initiated the romantic behaviour. Not me. I had done nothing to encourage it.

@Batten were the two of you able to see each other or did she continue her romantic moves on you after that incident? Did you ever find out what happened to her after you left that day?

Yes we saw each other again, but the friendship didn't last. My parents saw her death notice in the newspaper way back in 1984. Cancer.
